Item: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a very nice atomic era bullet cone floor lamp. Each of the metal shades is a different: one is coral, one is beige, and one is teal. They all have their own independent on/off rotary knob switch located on the top surface of each shade. The shades are also attached to the vertical column by brass attachments which allows each of them to pivot and/or rotate in various directions. The round base at the bottom is black metal, with a round brass plate at the center.
We are uncertain as to the maker as the lamp does not appear to be signed or have any remaining labels attached. M easurements : This lamp stands approx. The round black metal base has a diameter of approx. Each of the three shades is approx.
8 long, with the openings having a diameter of approx. With each of the shades positioned with their openings pointed in the downward direction, the distance from the bottom to the top of each of the shades is as follows: teal shade is approx. 45 high, beige shade is approx. 54 high, and the coral shade is approx. Condition: Overall, given it' age, we'd say this lamp is in very good condition.
There are some minor cosmetic flaws that we will mention here. First off, the round black metal and brass base shows some imperfections. There are some spots where there is some light tarnishing, and there is a small indention towards the outer edge of the central brass plate (see photo) - it is small and not overly recognizable, but it is there and is being mentioned for accuracy. Moving up to the three shades, they are all from from dents, dings, rust, damage, etc. There is some minor color loss on each, mainly towards the edge of the openings, but nothing major at all in our opinion. The shades all are able to rotate / pivot properly without there being any issues. The electric wiring has some black tape over it, and should be checked by a licensed professional prior to long-term use, just to be safe. It looks like the previous owner extended the length of the electric cord by adding more cord and connecting the two lenghts by using black tape. Each of the sockets function properly, and the lamp is in full working order. If you have questions, please ask them prior to purchasing, and we will gladly respond back to you in a timely manner.
